Rathpeacon Underage Ladies Teams
We are delighted to announce the launch of three underage Ladies Football teams here at Rathpeacon G.A.A.! Following on from the continued growth and success of our Monday Night Football trainings up at the pitch every week the committee decided that there was enough numbers for three Ladies teams.
We will field Ladies football teams at u-8, u-10 and u-12 level. Please see below message from our Chairman, Éamonn Hawe, on this fantastic venture.
“A chairde, Rathpeacon G.A.A. has formally launched our new Ladies Football teams.
As you all have seen, our underage numbers have grown enormously and with the support of our friends in Blarney G.A.A. and Blarney Camogie, we will field teams at u8s, u10s and u12s this year.
The new teams and members will be 100% integrated as part of Rathpeacon and will operate on an equal status to the existing junior teams.
This is a big undertaking but with the continued help of our members and supporters we will be successful in this venture and continue to grow.“
We are all so excited by the future of the club and can’t wait to see the ladies of Rathpeacon start to thrive on the pitch in the blue and white!
